Terms of Service
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Welcome to DyadIQ. Your use of the site and service is subject to the terms below. Using DyadIQ constitutes acceptance of these terms.
What is DyadIQ?
DyadIQ is a digital tool designed to help parents and children understand each other better, through short questions, comparing answers, and insights about their relationship.
The service is intended to encourage curiosity, conversation, mutual understanding, and reflection on the relationship. It is not intended to determine who is "right," to diagnose users, or to replace parental or professional judgment.
Not therapy, diagnosis, or professional advice
DyadIQ is not psychological therapy, not a psychological diagnosis, not professional parenting guidance, and not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.
The insights presented on the site are general, based on user answers, and are intended to provoke thought and conversation. They should not be viewed as a therapeutic recommendation, diagnosis, risk assessment, or a binding directive to act.
If you are dealing with significant distress, severe conflict, violence, harm, self-danger, or danger to others — please contact an appropriate professional, medical, therapeutic, or emergency resource.
Use by children and minors
DyadIQ is intended for children from age 8 and over, with the accompaniment, knowledge, or supervision of a parent or guardian.
A parent using the service and inviting a child or teenager to participate is responsible for ensuring the use is appropriate for the child's age, understanding, and emotional state.
DyadIQ must not be used to pressure a child or teenager to disclose information, answer questions they do not wish to answer, or participate against their will.
User responsibility
Use of DyadIQ is entirely the responsibility of the users.
The parent is responsible for exercising judgment in using the content, involving the child, and interpreting the insights received. Insights should be used as an invitation to conversation, not as a tool to prove a point, accuse, punish, or criticize.
The child or teenager is free to choose whether to participate, and may stop using the service at any stage.
The nature of insights
DyadIQ's insights are based on short, closed-ended answers and are therefore inherently limited. They may be accurate, partial, irrelevant, or not suitable for every family or situation.
Insights should be treated as a starting point for conversation, not as an absolute truth about the parent, child, or their relationship.
Privacy and personal information
Use of DyadIQ may involve providing information such as the user's role, the child's age, answers to questions, and insights generated from them.
Information is collected and used in accordance with DyadIQ's Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Service.
Do not enter sensitive information into the service that is not required, such as medical information, unnecessary identifying details, information about violence, harm, criminal matters, substance use, or any information that could compromise your privacy or the privacy of another person.
Prohibited use
DyadIQ must not be used to:
- Harm, humiliate, surveil, pressure, or control a child, parent, or other person;
- Attempt to diagnose another person or draw binding conclusions about their mental state;
- Collect sensitive information from another person without their consent;
- Commercial, research, or public use without prior written permission;
- Harm site operation, attempt unauthorized access, copy, automated data mining, or misuse of the system.
Service availability and changes
DyadIQ is in early development. There may be changes, bugs, temporary outages, deletion or modification of content, questions, insights, or features.
We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times, error-free, or suitable for every need, family, or situation.
Intellectual property
All rights to the site, the DyadIQ name, content, questions, insights, design, texts, components, and service structure belong to DyadIQ or those acting on its behalf, unless otherwise stated.
Copying, reproducing, distributing, publishing, selling, modifying, or making commercial use of site content without prior written permission is prohibited.
Limitation of liability
Use of DyadIQ is provided as-is, with no guarantee of any specific outcome.
DyadIQ, its operators, employees, partners, or those acting on its behalf will not be held liable for any damage, misunderstanding, distress, decision, action, or outcome resulting from use of the site, reliance on insights presented therein, or unavailability of the service.
Nothing herein limits liability that cannot be restricted under applicable law.
Changes to Terms of Service
DyadIQ may update these Terms of Service from time to time. An updated version will be published on the site, and the update date will appear at the top of the page.
Continued use of the site after terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
